Allison Carruth is a Professor of American studies and HMEI, and the current faculty director of the ENV (Environmental studies) minor. She directs the environmental research, storytelling and art group Blue Lab. She is on the Executive Committees of the Journalism Program and Center for Digital Humanities. Her research and teaching areas include climate storytelling, environmental art and narrative, contemporary food movements and the evolving relationships between technology and environmentalism in American culture.
