Moeko Fujii is a PhD student in the English Department, with a focus on film theory and Asian American literature. She is currently writing a dissertation entitled "The Asiatic Logic of Film Noir." She writes a column on film for Orion Magazine, and has contributed to The New Yorker, The New York Review of Books, Aperture, and elsewhere.
