Bio/Description
My name is Raheem Hanifa and I am a 3rd year Phd candidate in the Sociology Department also pursuing a graduate certificate in African American studies. I have a Master of Public Policy and my undergraduate studies are in Political Science and Sociology. My research interests pertain to urban sociology and race. I'm interested in studying the effects of early 20th century housing policies on racial disparities and understanding the role and promise of a reparations program in addressing racial wealth disparities.
