I have just joined Princeton as a Presidential Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Architecture. My research analyzes the tensions, resistances, compromises, and reconciliations that arise between queer families — of varying configurations — in relation to their homes — of varying configurations, especially during the mid 20th century in Europe and America. I have published on the intersection of writing and the built environment, looking to Frantz Fanon for ways of crafting post-colonial architectural histories.
